Collaborating on the Digital Solutions of Tomorrow: A Joint Project by xFLOWer and Corvinus University
A special collaboration has begun between xFLOWer and Corvinus University of Budapest: four talented business informatics students have started researching and further developing xFLOWer's artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities.
The project aims to expand xFLOWer's AI capabilities with additional tools and features, making process modeling and workflow management even more efficient. The students explored development opportunities using various language models and, alongside specific features, contributed fresh ideas and youthful perspectives to the collaboration.

The Digital Projects Course at Corvinus University
The project is part of the university's “Digitalization Projects” course, offered in the sixth semester of the full-time bachelor's program in business informatics. Students work in teams of four, collaborating with real corporate partners over a 12-week period.
A designated xFLOWer project manager—acting as a mentor—supports the students' work by assigning tasks and evaluating their project plan, progress reports and final documentation.
Mentoring Is Rewarding—and a Responsibility
This collaboration inspires not only the students but also our team. As mentors, it is exciting and an honor to support the professional development of a university team. It presents both a challenge and an opportunity: providing guidance is important, but so is leaving room for creativity.
The best part? Encountering fresh perspectives and energy that reinvigorate us and spark new ideas of our own. It is rewarding to see the students progress step by step toward real, working solutions.

Project Completion and Results
By June 2025, the joint project had been successfully completed. Through independent research and development, the students successfully delivered their agreed tasks and presented their project to the evaluation committee, which praised their work.
The research began along four different lines, one of which ultimately produced a concrete, working result:
using various language models, the students developed AI-based methods that can be integrated into the xFLOWer system. The resulting prototype can generate workflow drafts from text descriptions, laying the foundations for AI-assisted process modeling.
The project delivered not only technological value but also mutual inspiration: the students gained real-world corporate experience, while the xFLOWer team benefited from ideas informed by fresh perspectives.
AI Form Generation: A Tangible Result
One specific objective of the project was to enable the automatic generation of forms used in the xFLOWer system through language models. The students examined not only the quality of the generated forms but also the cost-effectiveness and applicability of different AI tools.
Using a working prototype, the students also demonstrated that forms associated with processes can be generated automatically in a structured format. This development direction could open up new long-term opportunities for xFLOWer's customer-specific solutions.
Collaboration - Higher Education & Business
The project served more than an academic purpose: the solution developed by the students also met professional standards, meaning the resulting feature could be incorporated into the xFLOWer system. This would allow the development to address real customer needs.
This collaboration is another example of how higher education and business can create genuine innovation together. Tomorrow's digital solutions are not developed in laboratories alone, but also through projects where education, research and corporate expertise come together.
Student Feedback
The experience and mentoring gained during the project contributed significantly to the students' professional development. Several students reported that solving real business problems and presenting their work provided substantial added value beyond their university studies.
